Workers’ Compensation Claims Management (Level 2)

Workers’ Compensation Claims Management Level 2 is a more advanced workshop covering more complex worker’s compensation topics. This comprehensive session will provide an in-depth discussion of various WSIB entitlements including psychological and mental stress. It will focus on strategic considerations for employers in responding to such claims and tools for managing complex RTW scenarios. Completion of the Level 1 workshop is not required to participate in this training session. However, it is best suited for individuals that have experience and more advanced knowledge of WSIB and workers’ compensation matters.

• Loss of Earnings (LOE) benefits
• Permanent Impairments and NEL award
• Re-employment and Cooperation Obligations
• Psycho-traumatic Disability and Chronic Pain Disability benefits
• Mental Stress claims
• Work Reintegration and Work Transition
• Objections and Appeals
• Managing employer costs
