DESCRIPTION:1-hour Live Webinar\nSchedule 1 employers may be eligible for cost relief on a claim-by-claim basis if there is evidence that a prior disability or pre-existing condition contributed to a work-related injury or delayed its recovery. This session will discuss how Second Injury and Enhancement Fund (SIEF) relief of costs is adjudicated and applied to claim costs. The focus will be on strategic considerations related to identifying claims with SIEF potential\, how and when to request SIEF\, and whether to object/appeal the quantum of SIEF relief.
