This level is geared towards individuals with entry-level to mid-level knowledge of workers’ compensation claims management topics and is also often taken as refresher training. \nThis seminar will address: \n\nKey employer obligations set out in Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Act\, 1997\nClaim suppression\nEffective accident investigations and how to complete the Employer’s Report of Injury (Form 7)\nMonitoring Claim Costs\nWSIB decisions and a review of time-limits\nTechniques and strategies for effective claims management beginning at the date of injury\nAn overview of the Early and Safe Return to Work (ESRTW) process\, including forms to be completed\, and techniques for overcoming barriers\n\nWhat to expect:\nLegislation\, policy and most importantly\, tools and strategies to effectively manage the topics covered.
